This life stage was expected: day by day the number of citizens and people who are interested in the citizenship is increasing, more news is coming up, so, new functionality is required. We have been working on a list of necessary changes for a long time and finally… Meet the updated website of the Kingdom of North Barchant! 

Of course, not all our ideas have been brought to life yet. Within a month we are planning to add two more great features — a state merch online store and an online form for marriage registration. Do not miss, it will be awesome! 

For the first little while, there may be some technical difficulties and minor errors — like any new project, our site requires some “time polishing”. Be patient, please!

Below you will find what has changed and how to use it:

1. Location selection

Now a couple of clicks is enough to tell and show all Barchant citizens where you are. To do this, just find your address on the map while filling out the profile. You can give as much information as you want — only a country or an entire address, up to the number of your house. 

2. Comments on articles

Share opinions and news with no trouble: we added two (!) functions for this. The former is a standard opportunity to comment on materials, and the latter is to create a topic for discussion of an article directly on the forum. Fast and easy!

3. Forum

Here you can communicate on any topic with both citizens and “ordinary” users. Share opinions, plan conferences, debate grave questions —productive, vigorous discussions are always welcome!

Also, the forum has a sub-forum of the Ministry of the Kingdom of North Barchant so you can ask questions directly to specialists and get their prompt replies.

4. User account 

Finally, you may have a user account! Give all the necessary information about yourself, attach photos, tell us about your interests, hobbies and skills. It will be much easier to get to know each other and start a conversation! 

Your personal account now allows you to get an online consultation or render physical assistance to the citizens of Barchant. Suppose you are a lawyer. Choose the point “Legal assiatance” in your profile and you will be seen on the map of Barchant as a legal assiatant. Anyone may ask you a question of concern and get your answer!

At the moment, physical assistance is limited to couchsurfing only — if a Barchant citizen arrives in your city with nowhere to stay, they will always see you on the map and ask for help!
