Today, we celebrate the birthday of Katherine Moon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of North Barchant

Today, we extend our warmest birthday wishes to Katherine Moon — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of North Barchant and one of the people who have contributed to the development and growth of our state for many years.

Katherine has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2016. Over the years, international relations have become an important part of North Barchant’s development: new diplomatic ties have been established, meetings with representatives of other micronations have taken place, mutual recognition agreements have been concluded, and the Kingdom has become increasingly active on the international stage.

The work of a Minister of Foreign Affairs goes far beyond official documents and protocol. Behind every new diplomatic connection are people, communication, trust, and the ability to find common ground between very different states.

One of the important events of recent years was Katherine Moon’s participation as a member of the Kingdom of North Barchant delegation at MicroEuroSummit 2024 in the Czech Republic, where representatives of European micronations exchanged experience, presented their states, and discussed opportunities for future cooperation. Following the event, members of the North Barchant delegation, including Katherine Moon, were awarded medals by the United Republic of Obscurium.

Today, North Barchant’s diplomatic geography continues to expand. One of the recent milestones was the signing in 2025 of a Treaty of Mutual Recognition with the Sovereign Kingdom of Stota, opening new opportunities for cooperation between the two states.

Behind official titles, international meetings, and state documents are always real people. And the history of a state is shaped, in no small part, by their time, energy, ideas, and years of dedicated work.

On Katherine Moon’s birthday, the Kingdom of North Barchant thanks her for her many years of service, her dedication to the Kingdom, and her contribution to the development of its international relations.
