On April 5–6, 2025, the First Open Russian Dice Chess Championship was held in Sochi. The event brought together over 200 participants and became an important step in the development of this intellectual game. It should be noted that there were many citizens of the Kingdom among the participants.

Minister of Sports Anastasia Printseva acted as one of the key organizers, emphasizing North Barchant's commitment to supporting innovative and intellectual sports.

The championship included: the main tournament — with a prize fund for the strongest players; a charity tournament — part of the proceeds from which was directed to the development of children's chess schools. The championship opened new horizons for the popularization of Dice Chess in Russia. The organizers expressed their intention to make the tournament annual and expand its international presence.
