The anniversary of the birth of French writer Jules Verne
The anniversary of the birth of French writer Jules Verne was on 8 February. Valery Sushkov, Minister of Posts and Communications of the Kingdom of North Barchant, a traveller and postal historian, was holding a number of events in different parts of the world. Students at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) had a radio session with astronauts from the International Space Station.
In addition, a unique philatelic set inspired by Jules Verne's novels was sent to the Jules Verne Museum in Nantes, France.
💡 It’s hard to believe that Jules Verne was a stay-at-home author who never left his native France. But he still wrote the best-known adventure books of all time and inspired many directors to make top-notch blockbusters. Imagination is everything!
